Last Friday, Brian, the boys, and I had the opportunity to go and see the Harlem Globetrotters at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA. We had seen them years ago in Hershey, so we knew they were great entertainers. In fact, this just came up in my Facebook memories this morning:
Time flies!
It’s hard to believe it’s been six years! Ian said he didn’t really remember seeing them before, and no wonder! He was not quite 7 at the time.
Making Memories
I’m one one of those parents who is more into making memories than giving my kids things.
And, since Thi has been with us, I’ve really wanted to provide him with opportunities to store up memories (and treasures) that he can take home with him when he leaves us. He loves basketball, so I knew he would really love seeing the Globetrotters!
The Globetrotters put on an entertaining show!
If you’ve never seen the Globetrotters, I would highly recommend going to see them sometime! They are so entertaining and fun. You don’t even need to be a basketball (or sports) fan to appreciate them. I hate sports and I find myself mesmerized by the Globetrotters tricks and antics on the court.
